Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I just finished this at long last. The malleability of memories part is great, when Rosemary's parents tell her their version. I think it would make a great book for undergrad psychology students to read and discuss in light of lots of different topics.

I really liked it too, and found it v thought-provoking. I didn't know or guess the twist and was really pleased that I didn't.

Good choice, McG. Thanks.

I really enjoyed this a d it has my highest score so far. I didn't initially like the fern twist but got over that within a few pages then really liked the diversion the book took.

I rea the book in a little over 48 hrs which suggests I enjoyed it.

Finally started and finished this one. I enjoyed it, I didn't know the twist and was glad I didn't. I thought the placing of the twist (about 1/4 way through) was interesting- any later and it would have felt stretched I think. I've infuriated my OH whilst reading it as he kept asking me what it was about but I couldn't tell him without giving it away so I just said it was about a woman talking about her family growing up.

What did people think about the ending? I was disappointed with it- it felt a bit too 'happy ever after' that glossed over a lot

I didn't think so, I thought it felt quite realistic, neither happy nor sad.

Agree with Fleecy - realistically pitched I thought.

Hardly happy!
