3000 miles in 2017

I am wondering if I should be biting the bullet and doing the whole 4350 miles in one year. It would be a bigger thing for the charity. Is that totally crazy or doable? I could do some marathon streaks maybe if fitness with the increasing miles allows...

If you've not done high mileage weeks in recent times and got your body used to it this would be rather risky, Buzzard Sis, as there would be potential for injury. Over 80 miles a week is a huge amount.

Not been very lively in here, but checking in to report that with more than a month to go I have at long last broken the 3k annual miles barrier :-)

Ive been lucky with injury only having missed one week back in July, ironically an overuse injury as I increased the miles too quickly.
