SarahWoo This was my first ever race so it was all a bit daunting but apart from the foul weather, I really enjoyed it! The course would have been great in the sunshine! Well organised and very friendly - I wasn't far off being last to finish but there was still a group of people at the finishing line cheering people in. Will be back next year to better my time! upsy daisy What a wet and windy day! Typical for a British Bank Holiday Monday. I struggled around the course and was almost blown off my feet at one point as it was so blustery. Thankfully, it was mostly downhill and I'd made up enough time in the first 4 miles to counteract the slow last two miles running into the headwind.
