Running Beans This was a disaster of a race, even though I was slow at San Francisco Marathon I was expecting that. For this Marathon I trained well and ate well with everything going well I went through 20 miles in just over 2 hours which would put me on target for sub 3 hours so I figured I could slow the pace slightly but just before 21 miles the shit hit the fan and I through it all away with it taking me 1 hour 46 minutes to cover the last 10ks of the Marathon. at least I finished it but I was sore, stiff and well not impressed. I think the problem was down to to much Quantity distance but poor Quality distance. We will see if I do another marathon in the future.
