Oh that’s awful GF, mine was nowhere near that heavy even though it was very bad for me. It seems to be stopping now, or at least today has been much lighter. I really hope you feel better and get some answers soon x

I bled for 24 days then had 3 days off before it started again. It's not heavy like yours, some of those days are more like blood when wiping with only small amounts on pads. Some are full on gushy days. The days where I think I'm free of it then get the gushes are awkward.

Have dropped sertraline to every other day plan to stop it on Friday but I'm finding myself getting tetchy and crabby again, snappy at times. I don't know if it's coincidental that I'm feeling like this, I did have times like it when I was on it. Will possibly have to ride it out.

I have two patches left which takes me to Thursday next week. Chemist has nothing and only 4 of the replacement medication the GP prescribed. I'm due a review anyhow. I just called the GP. They can give me a telephone consultation today but cannot guarantee the time and I have a meeting between 2 and 4. They can't give me an appointment before the 25th. I already have one for the 23rd but that's too late. They can't give me a telephone meeting tomorrow - I have to call at 8am when the receptionists are so stressed they freak me out. I can't make one online as I already hold one and that means you can't make another one. I am totally stressed about running out. It's one of the busiest times of the year at work and things at home are difficult. OH is about to go away for a week. FFS.

I will pop into the chemist and see if they still have the four patches but if not, I have no idea. I have meetings tomorrow and Thursday and next week is fucking ridiculous workwise.

Disaster temporarily averted. Got patches and they are weekly, so 4 more weeks supply.

Chemist says tablets are almost as scarce. And it's not Brexit.

Take a deep breath LindsD and have some hugs ((())) When I was running low I kept my patches on for longer, is that worth trying?

Seems I don’t belong here just yet. It’s not menopause it’s adenomyosis. Trying the Mirena coil (although I’m so squeamish I even feel a bit funny at the thought of it!)

Oh hadn’t finished 😂 The cool does seem less drastic than a hysterectomy though so definitely starting there. Symptoms are pretty consistent with it although I’d only heard of endo, not this one
