Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

We both work from home all the time. We share an office and a desk, although I do leave fetch alone when I go and treat my clients (in another room at home...would be awkward to treat them in the same room :-P). We used to work from the dining room table...it was a bit of a pain. Here's the office

I work (study) from home, though when I see participants I go to them :)

Fetchies are my virtual office buddies :) Though I do occasionally go into uni to chat to people, or to go running. I cannot focus in my office at uni, plus my PC there is beyond shit.
I did an undergrad degree in 3 years when my kids were tiny, I got very, very good at focusing in weird places with children screaming in the background (sometimes mine....) I actually get stacks of work done in the car waiting for my kids to do their after school stuff.

Oooh! Fetch HQ. Is that really where it all happens? I'm assuming that all the minions are behind you across the rest of the room?

We both work from home a fair bit. Since October we've had an office each instead of me unpacking an office in the kitchen each day and then packing it up again. It's amazing how easy it is to get used to the luxury.

I am self employed and work at home. Been full time at it since last July. I am a book indexer and work on a variety of subjects. I can flex my hours and work when I want to meet the deadlines. Or go running, shopping or put the washing on when I want. There are meetings every few months with others and conferences to go to every year. We also have email support groups. So while I am on my own I am not alone.

I don't do a job I could do from home, but even if I did, I'm not focused enough to work from home. When I did my degree (as a mature student) I did as much studying as I could in the uni library as I got much more done there then I could at home.
