Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Did 10k this morning, which puts me onto 15 out of a possible 16. Could possibly pick up the missing point midweek if I could think of a 5k route on the road that isn't too hilly.

I think there'll be a lot of changes in position next weekend though.

I got my 5k top spot back again thanks to a 5k race today 😊 improved my lead in the mile too but haven't managed to get my 400m top spot back yet 🤔

Currently 15/16 points. Hoping there aren't to many planning late attempts to knock me down leaderboard. Health permitting I'll have another go at a 10k time but have to improve by over 6 mins to have a chance of claiming the 4 points.

An OK mile race this morning, bit slower than planned but improved on my 400m and mile times for the Toenails.

I've just made seven new badges, which will be handed out to individuals at the end of the cup (23.59 on April 27th). As well as a badge for all those in the winning house, there are badges for competing in all your events; a badge for getting top marks in all your events; some graded badges for getting 70%+, 60%+ or 50%+ of the points available to you; a badge for coming last in all your events; and even a badge for not recording any points in any of your events. That should give you all something to aim for :-)

I'd love to read your blogs about how the House Cup has made you do stuff you didn't realise you wanted to do - hopefully it will encourage more people to sign up for our next iteration. I am thinking that will be in September - a 'Back to School' edition :-)

Dammit, I now want to try to beat my mile time to top every available category but I have also seen the person who is currently leading state that he could easily beat that time, whereas it would be a downhill, favourable wind effort for me to stand a chance!

At least that's 2 badges to aim for in the next couple I suppose!

I've just moved up a place on a couple of my matches after doing a bit of a tempo run, which might help a bit in the overall competition.
