I think this is the first time I've taken part... and probably less said about my performance the better, sorry! At least I won my walking race ๐ A bit of a shame I got stuck with two bike matches (1) I don't cycle much and (2) I definitely don't finish 10 miles in 22 minutes... or even 30! My 5k appeared to be a bit uneven too, and the winner crushed my all time PB by about 1 minute ๐ฒ... not happening during my marathon taper! Oh well no grade for me. |

Next time the House Cup runs, check your benchmarks before the teams are set, @Marvin - Fetch gives us a nudge to do this. You can delete any that donโt look accurate and that will change the opponents you are put against so you have fairer matches. There are sometimes odd anomalies with benchmarks if youโve ever accidentally left your Garmin on when you set off driving after a run, for example.

Solid grade B here. I think the longest running match is 10k, and there is a 5 mile walking challenge. And yes, there will be another one in September - to coincide with autumn marathon taper :-/
