I am not condoning it, but they probably thought it would stop children skipping a full or half day to watch it at home.

email from Ticketmaster last night promoting, amongst other things, the Barbican Christmas Festival and Snow White - the World's Biggest Panto - at Birmingham Arena.
Do you think we could just get to midsummer before you start ramming Christmas down our throats again?!? Grrr.

I hate Ticketmaster. I had one offering me tickets for Parklife 2017, exactly 4 days after Parklife 2016
I do not look like, and could not, even in the very best of lights, be mistaken for a 20-something either

Overly fussy eaters. Most people will have something they don't like but some people just take the piss. "ohhhh ... I don't like tomatoes, I don't like onions, I don't like mushrooms, I don't like bananas etc ..."
Just grow the f*ck up !

Jeff - you've met my brother? Except he does eat bananas but no other fruit. Or rice. Or indeed anything with a flavour profile above 'bland'

Fussy children are the worst. You ask their parents what they like, you give it to them, and they still waste most of it. Might as well chuck it in the bin and save the hassle of cooking it.

Good ones here - ticket promotions, fussy eaters... Two things today that have really bugged my shite: 1 - ridiculous and worsening bureaucracy at work (a council) - we were supposed to be getting away from all that nonsense but it seems to have got worse. 2 - effing Messenger thingy on FB - forcing it's way onto my phone. 3 (whist I am at it) - windows 10 - that hijacked my laptop last week!

I just tell other parents to feed ds2 toast or bread and fruit, once they get over the weirdness they realise that it makes things easier! Fussy kids don't do it deliberately.

Apropos of nothing, anyone who keeps cocktail sticks in an open container at the edge of a top shelf.
