Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

My purse has a detachable coin section which fits in most running kit pockets and stops annoying jangling.

When out running I keep notes in my shorts pocket in a little bank coinage bag. Stops sweat from making the note soggy.

Wrap it in tissue paper, or a hankie?

It annoyed the hell out of me on sunday as well - at least it was other people and I could get away from the noise, I couldn't have listened to it for 13 or 26 miles

Sky News Weather - still wondering whether they've got a snazzy computer linked to the Met Office or they just make it up using a piece of seaweed.

Whichever, it was nowhere near the 22 degrees they guessed at yesterday.

There was a dude at the London 10k yesterday with some kind of small pouch thing around his waist. It sounded like he was carrying enough change to buy everyone ice cream and made a tremendous racket.

That kind of noise bugs the hell out of me when racing so I usually speed up to get away. Not an issue this time as he was way faster than me even with his haul from robbing a one-armed bandit and was soon out of earshot again! :-)

People who just shut the lid on the laptop instead of shutting it down or at least leaving it in sleep mode.

I've configured mine to enable me to shut it down just by closing the lid. It's quicker than going through the shut down routine.
