I can't believe that today, I got one of those 'select the xxx to confirm that you are not a robot' pop-ups, and got it wrong. No, nothing to do with my apparent lack of intelligence. It asked me to identify all the drinks, which I did. It seemed that it also wanted me to say that a small bowl of [let's say] soy sauce was also a drink. I only got past once I went along with the computer's stupidity.

Doesn't exactly 'grind my gears' per se but I just don't understand it. Why would you run a race with a pocketful of change jingling about in for the whole distance. OK you might need to get a bus back to the start but hey, have you never heard of paper money ?

Paper money gets wet?
People who bang on about home grown this, home made that. Apparently anything home grown is 1500 times nicer and more good for you yadda yadda yadda....

Every bus I have ever caught recently you need the exact change to get on.

[Or you may have started with paper money but decided to fuel up with coffee and a doughnut. It would bug the tits off me as well though. Especially if it was in my pocket.]

It does get wet but it doesn't disintegrate and I think I'd rather change my note for some schrapnel later rather than run for 26.2 miles (or any distance for that matter) with a pocketful of change.

I used to keep blutac in the car to stick my car key and fob together when I'd driven to running club so they wouldn't rattle in my pocket on the club run:)

[It would annoy the hell out of me too, I would find a way to wrap it up or something to stop it jingling]
