Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Thank you TRO ,but please don't start me again on the use of 'myself, yourself' etc where I/me or you would do, just to make someone try to sound more 'educated' than they actually are. It makes me want to scream ;-)

My boss uses yourself and myself all the time when he is dictated letters - it really winds me up. I quite often change it in letters before giving them back to him to sign - he never seems to notice!

People who drive at 45 in a 60 area, but then drive at just under 40 in a 30 zone. Fucknuggets.

Queue jumpers (especially at bus stops). They usually come with blatantly obvious tactics such as...

1. Pretending to read the bus timetable and then just stand there without going to the end of the queue.
2. Trying to be friendly with someone nearer the front.
3. Attempting to be apologetic once the bus arrives.

Had a great Queue jumper at Argos, just brazen. We had all had our numbers called, but there was a very obvious line of two couples lined up. This guy bold as brass waltzed to the front of the Queue and got served.

I did the very British thing of saying cheeky git, loud enough for my wife to hear, but not loud enough for the villain to hear.

This Black Friday thing. DO NOT buy anything marketed as a Black Friday deal - it only encourages them. Just a big marketing con.
