Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Ah, yes, FAKE, that is the word I am looking for.

The train announcer saying they are sorry for the overcrowding. Instead of being sorry why don't you put on enough chuffing (or insert own word of choice!) carriages on in the first flipping place instead of having to apologise every other day.

The Brighton Marathon organisers say that Southern put on extra trains for the event. This year was worst so far. It took 45 minutes for a packed train to arrive which I just about squeezed on. Extra trains doesn't mean the usual Sunday service with an extra carriage or two. Come on Southern, you've got five months to sort it out!

People who say 'I myself', as in 'I myself think we should...'. The 'I' in itself is sufficient, the 'myself' completely redundant, and indeed is needless posturing by jumped up fuckshovels who think inserting this superfluous word renders their own opinion above everyone else's.

I'm thinking you don't like the phrase 'Personally, I...' either. If you're saying I, it's automatically personal!

'Personally I myself'....would be a winner. Subject me to that, and we may see that spontaneous human combustion is in fact real...;-)

Personally is legit if you're emphasising your view is different from the corporate one, perhaps.
