People who appear to stick up 2 fingers to rules and regulations, time and time again, but always seem to get away with it!

Fragile Do Not Bend
Green laners. We were walking along part of the North Downs Way which is a byway, so it isn't illegal to drive along it, but they are a bloody nuisance nonetheless.
There is more than enough tarmac out there for them to drive on, instead they drive their smelly 4x4s along the tracks we are using to try and get away from traffic. The track is only just wide enough for them so we had to squeeze into the hedge to avoid getting our feet run over, and they create huge ruts in the path that then become deep, muddy puddles.
We were passed by 8 of the buggers today, and 5 trail motorbikes for good measure.

I'm a road / track biker, and occasionally I do a bit of off-roading stuff, on closed mx circuits, private land, that kind of thing. But I really don't get green-laners (the bike variety) and can't get excited about the perceived "threats" to their hobby. It just seems to be a practice guaranteed to screw up the surface of their "beloved" ancient green lanes and their equally ancient rights to (ab)use them, and guaranteed to piss off their fellow green-lane users.

How can their rights be that ancient if the internal combustion engine is such a relatively recent invention? There's a stretch of byway on my route to uni which has been made impassable by a couple of 4WDs going down it, adds about 10 minutes to my bike journey to have to navigate round it. Probably only took them 10 minutes to fuck up the surface for years for walkers, cyclists, and horse riders.

Teachers who give 10 year olds 4 pages of homework on a Friday and demand it be in on a Monday. And then said 10 year olds forget until 5 minutes before they have to leave for school, grrrr.
Luckily I'm the world's fastest reader so did it for him in 5 minutes flat but the sentence structure of the grammar section was excruciating: please don't teach kids this dreadful writing!

Well of course I did it for him, otherwise he would have got a bollocking. And believe me, it was so bloody boring he wouldn't have learnt anything from it anyway. Other than how to write sentences to make a reader cringe.
