Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I agree with alpenrose. Revolting habit, no excuse for it, and I'll bet that runners who think their saliva deserved a public airing are the same ones that whine on about "dehydration".

Mountain bikers who think they've got right of way over pedestrians on public bridleways provided they bawl "BIKE!" as they come up behind you.

The Purley Way. 55 mins for three miles this evening. I am so thankful our car is an automatic, or its gears would have been ground as well.

Agree with alpenrose and V-Rap on spitting. Absolutely minging, no need for it - especially in races when I imagine the runners towards the back must be running on 50% road 50% bodily fluid thanks to all the "speedy boys" hacking up all over the place..

Of course, the casual spitting in the street is beyond vile too. Don't people's parents bring them up right any more?

But Jambomo, it shouldn't be raining EVERY DAY :-( . The typical maximum temperature in July should not be 15°C either.

Ramblers who take it the wrong way when I call out "Hello my Beauty" as I come up behind them on my mountain bike. No I wasn't calling out to you I was greeting one of my sheep....

My manager. Decline a regular meeting as I've been invited to a one-off event with someone more important, the CEO. I suggest a couple of alternative times. She responds by sending me an invite for exactly the same time. It's not deliberate, she just doesn't read things properly, or listen. She's a super-excited multi-tasker.
