Revolting habit, no excuse for it, and I'll bet that runners who think their saliva deserved a public airing are the same ones that whine on about "dehydration". Mountain bikers who think they've got right of way over pedestrians on public bridleways provided they bawl "BIKE!" as they come up behind you.

Absolutely minging, no need for it - especially in races when I imagine the runners towards the back must be running on 50% road 50% bodily fluid thanks to all the "speedy boys" hacking up all over the place.. Of course, the casual spitting in the street is beyond vile too. Don't people's parents bring them up right any more?

I suggest a couple of alternative times. She responds by sending me an invite for exactly the same time. It's not deliberate, she just doesn't read things properly, or listen. She's a super-excited multi-tasker.
