Never mind that a) motorways have contraflows all the time when there are roadworks and b) there are plenty of 60 mph limit roads that have traffic going in both directions without a barrier between the 2 sides.

You own the house, not the road. I once had a neighbour r knock at my door to move the car 2 yards so hec ould move his 2 yards so his car door would be directly next to his front gate!!!!
