Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

People who get up from their desk and feel it's acceptable to leave thel chair about 10 ft from their desk. We had two visitors in our office today who left the chairs all messy so I pushed them under the desk.
Even in restaurants, I cannot stand it when people leave and don't put their chairs back under the table, messy fuckers! OCD maybe :-)

I'm with you on the chairs Sazza, I have to walk past three chairs to get to my desk and 9 times out of 10 I have to push them in.

This sentence from the BBC illustrating a picture of a wind-damaged railway:

Overhead lines were damaged between Diss and Stowmarket after fierce winds in Norfolk and Suffolk disrupted road and rail services.

They mean that rail services were disrupted AFTER lines were damaged. Not the way they've written it.

The disappearance of tea spoons. Three sets have been provided in the last couple of years in my office and nearly all have gone. The rule of 'use, wash and return' is well known but where do they go?

Surrey Phil, in my last office disappearing teaspoons were a major issue (no, really, there were no bigger issues for an office of 140 people in Central London to concern themselves with, the number of emails on the subject proved that...😉).

Apart from those weirdos insisting on keeping a full set of cutlery in their desk drawers, it transpired to most of the lost spoons had gone in the bin.

I suppose it's better than using them for cooking up heroin. Just.

Pro dog walkers who don't keep an eye on their (own!) dogs. Yes it pood in the middle of the field and I felt obliged to pick it up and you were nowhere to be found to tell.

I really had enough to be doing with my own charges.
