Why not make one that works on piles just don't use your brush to apply it.
As for the two tubes I know from first hand Germolene doesn't taste very nice.

More cyclist amazement. I commute to work and back daily but last night we had to pick the kids up so my wife collected me from work. We were stopped at some traffic lights on one of the main roads in Hull. It's a straight road but there was a junction on the right which traffic was coming out of. A guy on a bike passed us on the outside and went straight through the red light. Perched in a child carrier on the back of the bike was a child who can't have been any older than 3, she looked like a 2 year old. Neither rider nor child had helmets on. We couldn't believe what we had just seen and my wife said we should say something to him as we passed. We caught up with him and to be honest he looked like a nutter so I thought I should keep schtum. However, when we passed we saw that he had another child perched on the crossbar. This child didn't have a helmet on either. Some people really are not qualified to care for children.
