Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

People who, realising they've written something displaying extreme ignorance and arrogance, don't delete it but add "just my 2 cents".

Dr K - this is 100 yards from my local Co-op. I have not set foot inside the Tesco and don't ever intend to but I do use the Co-op regularly. Co-op has its own car park around the back and I presume deliveries go there too as you never see Co-op lorries parked out the front.

not necessarily, Jono - if I presumed to offer training advice to a high-jumper, that would amount to a display of ignorance and arrogance.

That my vet can take blood from my cat on a Saturday afternoon without an appointment and have the results back in less than an hour.

It would take about 2 weeks to get an appointment for a blood test at my GPs after arguing with the receptionist about not being able to see the "blood" nurse because she only does mid-morning appointments (er, hello, some of us work for a living!) and then the blood has to be sent off and results come back "within a week"

To be fair, L, I got similarly fast results from my last blood test: called surgery, saw GP, sent to hospital, phone call with results all inside three hours.
