She's offered to pay but that's not the point. Our 10 and 7 year old kids have managed to get out without causing any damage so far, why can't you?

The result of this is that the lorry parks on zigzags right in front of the zebra crossing and cars can't pass on that side, meaning that there are tailbacks. Surely a mini supermarket shouldn't've been allowed to take over the premises with no provision for offloading, especially when it causes tailbacks at the time people are travelling to work?

I would be v surprised if car drivers haven't complained already. It's blatant and happens every morning. I'm on the bike and I can just about get around the lorry but with the zebra crossing obscured from my view until I'm right on it. The cynic in me thinks that Tesco are being allowed to get away with it because they're such a big organisation. I can't believe that they're not being nicked for parking on zigzags.

Where I am the Council have just refused Sainsbury's a "local" shop on traffic grounds. It would be 100 yards from a Co-Op store which already has inadequate parking.
