It was a typical journey; i.e. speeding, pulling out into roundabouts without looking or braking, getting into wrong lanes just to overtake, hooting at every car in front which was driving within the speed limits. With under a mile to go, I told him to pull over and I'd walk the rest of the way. I wasn't close to being late so I could have down without it. I took the train and bus home even though I would be back much later than expected. If you have never taken a taxi ride in Rome - just don't!

Funny thing is, to get your license for the former you have to do a driving test when they focus on safety and passenger comfort. You have to crawl around corners and roundabouts to get through. I guess that once you’ve got your license… if you are using Uber, who knows?]
