Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

In older versions of Microsoft Office, if you were saving a series of documents in Word or Excel, when you did "Save As" it would show you the last used folder location by default in the file explorer window it brings up. These days I have to navigate to my desired folder each time. Oh, and the window initially shows my my Quick Access links but then jumps down to the This PC folders meaning I have to scroll back up to find my favourites.

People with smart watches that display a text message when their phone receives one, who stare at their watch when you're halfway through your sentence and they completely ignore you. How rude!

Someone nearby using an electric mower which makes a hideous noise with a high-pitched background whistle for a really, really long time.

Delivery company gets my package half way across the country successfully but drops if off in the main (unattended) lobby in my block of flats, rather than deliver it to my door.

At least they didn’t put it in the recycling bin, we were away so our delivery got collected by the bin men.
