Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

software updates/downloads that quickly move to '99% complete' and then take half the total time just to finish that final 1%
[i suspect that the % figure relates to download while the overall time includes things like actually updating the software. But if that's the case I only want a % score for how long the whole thing is going to take]

The person who has Teams called me at least 5 times in the last 20 minutes when I’m showing as away as I’m downstairs on my lunch break. It had better be urgent when I get back upstairs.

Fragile Do Not Bend
Trying to refold those leaflets that come in medicine packets. I’m sure they are folded in a completely random way.

[Its something new so I want to keep it in case I need to refer to the side effects or something. I wouldn’t bother if it was just paracetamol]

the outright lies told be virgin media. have had wifi problems for 2+ months. phoned them today and apparently "some engineers are installing cables for new customers in your area and this is affecting the wifi".

given that a) this has gone on for many months, and b) none of my neighbours have wifi problems, and c) they say this everytime i phone them, this is a demonstrable lie.
