Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Ebs on TMS.

I can turn into an evangelical meat eater in the face of such vegans.

Back to V'rap and "The Times website. Horribly jumpy and difficult to work with"

Agree - it's more like an 80's video game to catch the link you want before it moves.
Or just a deliberate way to make sure that the link changes to an advert link the moment you click it.

[ BTL? What's that? I'm a bloke, should I be expressing my opinion there in a loud & forceful manner? ]

*JK* Chameleon. I used to be constantly on Facebook and am pleased to declare that I have now been Facebook-Free since October and feeling truly liberated and better for it.

[BTL = below the line. The bit where the publishers get the readers to pay for the privilege of providing copy, and which exposes the actual demographics of the readership. I don't fit in and I won't be subscribing again after the six month reduced-price period has expired.]

In "normal" times I buy the Times on a Saturday, but only for the sport, the cross words and Giles Coran.

Why people hit the brakes as soon as their wheels slip by a miniscule amount on snow and ice.

2nd gear, keep the revs low and most importantly, keep moving! Simples.

Nicholls595, you can always recognise an evangelical vegan, because by definition an evangelical wants to spread the ‘good news’. A non-evangelical vegan is a lot harder to spot. You might have met some.
