(It's a max of two whether they live together or not in Scotland. Young kids are excluded.)

That’s not how I understood the rules- I thought a household could go out together- the limit of 2 was when household were mixing. Seems daft to say three people who live together can’t be outside together

[I agree that it’s really annoying having to move out of the way of people when they’re heads down on the phone, but simply not moving out of their way and letting them bump into you is not going to change their habits. If there is room for me to move aside, I do. Let’s face it, if you were riding a bike or driving a car and saw an obstacle in front of you, wouldn’t you take action to avoid it? I don’t see that it’s any different with an annoying phone obsessed pedestrian? There’s enough sh1t happening at the moment, so let’s try to be nice, even to tw@ts]

I agree about being nice, I have to disagree about changing habits. If I move aside they continue on their way, never even being aware. If they bump into me (causing no real harm but giving them a bit of a shock no doubt) might make them think twice about paying attention to where they are going.

Checked the Scotgov website for COVID rules: "A maximum of 2 people, aged 12 and over, can meet outdoors for a permitted purpose, if they are not from the same household" (https://www.gov.scot/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-stay-at-home-guidance/)

I think bumping into people is more likely to cause retaliation rather than change habits.

We will have to agree to disagree Anyway, as I said, in COVID times I'm just keeping as far away from people as I can, despite many of them making that as difficult as they can

(also- I've never deliberately bumped into somebody. I've just stopped where I am rather than going out of my way to move out of somebody not looking where they are going)
