Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Frag, I think I'd have responded "I'm wearing a mask for YOUR safety, not mine. But I'd rather be a snowflake than an inconsiderate, rude arsehole." I'd accompany that with a shrug and smiling eyes and walk on. Moral high ground and all that. Shame that person is the kind of dick to ignore social distancing and make others ill.

[ One small problem, Wine Legs. That may have come out, through the mask, as "mumble mumble mutter grunt mumble ... grunt mumble ARSEHOLE" ;-) ]

I’m fed up that football has restarted. For a couple of months I’ve had no need to get depressed by my team’s performance, but now they’ve lost two games on the trot 😡

Whenever I sell something on FB messenger, the first question people ask is "Is it available?". Of course it fucking is. I'm not going to go to the bother of posting things that aren't available. And when they aren't available, I mark them as sold. FFS.

[When you respond to a FB Marketplace post, the first option to come up is to click on "Is this available?" And not everybody does bother marking things sold; I can still see something I bought a couple of weeks ago listed for sale on a second-hand-fancy-leggings site.]

[I got about 30 of those enquiries in 30 minutes on Saturday. Thing is, until the 1st person came to collect it, about 1:15 minutes later, I didn't want to mark it as sold]

Dog (owners) on cycle paths and trails.

Either keep it on a lead (preferably), or if you are going to let it roam, don't call it to you just before I get to you/it!
