Came back from dropping L off at school to find Mrs D's friend has parked on the drive.

Waiting two weeks for the PIN to arrive for my replacement credit card - and finding that the date on the letter is 23rd June - what have they done with it for the last two weeks?

[I'd only have to go out and move the car later]
TR, my Mum's medical practice sends her letters dated "date as postmark" but then send out all their mail using some kind of service that doesn't get postmarked.

I came home sick with a stinking cold from work once to find a strange car had parked on our drive, right up against our garage door.
I parked behind them, wrote an angry note and put it on their windshield then retired to my bed with a lemsip.
Not long after the doorbell rang, turns out it was the cleaning lady who worked for the neighbours whose driveway was adjacent to ours with no divide along the middle - she'd parked on our drive rather than theirs because she was cleaning it, or something, and we were usually out all day so she thought it would be fine.
I said tough, I was too sick and drugged up to safely move the car now so she'd have to wait until Sam got home.

I have milk delivered on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Any amendments to an order needs to be made by 12 noon the day before delivery. At 4:30 pm on Tuesday and Thursday I receive details of special offers, 4 hours and 35 mins too late to take up the offers!

That’s because they changed the ordering deadline! I was talking to someone who works there and they were totally overwhelmed by extra orders after lockdown. That said, I was so grateful they kept delivering, it was such a relief not to go out foraging for milk and bread!

I understand that Fleecy, it used to be before 9pm. (Are you referring to Milk’n’More?) What I don’t understand is why the special offers email doesn’t come out before the amendment cutoff time. I too really appreciate that they kept delivering, and at least now that things have quietened down it doesn’t take up to an hour to login.

Since you 2 started on about milk deliveries ... the milk delivery person who goes up and down the street at 3am with a noisy car and radio/music blaring.

That’s very inconsiderate um. (Our milk is sometimes delivered before we go to bed, at around 11pm. We must be very near the beginning of the route.)
