Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

[That'll be me, DQ. I can't retain the knowledge that the floor will tell me which way I'm allowed to go and I can't just swoop on the aisles I want to visit in the order I want to visit them.]

[But why? It causes so much extra stress for those of us in the vulnerable but not quite shielding category that have to shop for food!]

[because they put the arrows to make you go down and up all the aisles that you wouldn't normally and spend money on things you wouldn't normally buy instead of just where you want to go and are used to going]

[We're being instructed to perform a routine and embedded task in an unfamiliar way. Some people will adapt more easily than others. I can't imagine anyone WANTS to do it wrong and get under the feet of those who are like, "Why can't everyone just get it right like me?"]

[Up the first aisle and down the next, it seems perfectly logical to me and not a ruse to get me to buy more more than I need. Food shopping is far the most stressful thing I & hubby HAVE to do at the moment and we take turns to do it, otherwise we are keeping well away from other people ]

[but I never go up and down all the aisles, so that's unnatural ]
