Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

EDF installed a smart meter last autumn and my electricity bill has doubled. I don't have OTT Christmas decorations or have the lights/heating on constantly or full blast so something's definitely not right.

Mailing lists that I seem to constantly be unsubscribing from. Pisses me right off that I KNOW I've told these people to fuck off before. I get enough crap to deal with as it is. Surely GDPR ought to sort this kind of thing out? I bloody hope so.

Those fucking phone calls that are a recording to sound like a real person but aren't. And they come from what looks like a real number. Dickwads.

Ridiculous medical requests from no-nothing doctors who are just making work for themselves to keep their cushy post going. There is no mention about risk of seizures of brain mets because the risk is negligible, no more than for anyone else.

Adverts on the 'Tiny Pop' TV station

- my daughter (7 years old) has just started watch this channel and it has mainly cartoons such as 'My Little Pony' and 'PJ Masks' on it

But the adverts? Amongst the adverts for plastic rubbish (toys) there are also adverts for;

VIP Poo
Cilit Bang (my daughter now regularly quotes Barry Scott)
Mister Sheen
Life Insurance and on a rare occasion, funeral expenses plans !

Hot potatoes being thrown at me from all directions on the Thursday afternoon before a four-day weekend. And people who have started their Easter drinking early and decide they're really, really ill, but not ill enough to call an ambulance, just ill enough to need the doctor out.
