Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

[Or the person who rocks up just after the cycle starts and asks "Can you put this in with the next load?" ;-) ... usually when you've already done two loads, this is the last load, and it's a hlaf load ... :-o ]

People who develop technology who clearly have no idea what it is like using the system when you have an impatient queue of customers in front of you.

Id be quite happy to test it out before they implement it and tell them exactly where they are going wrong.

The seemingly recent trend for describing a half marathon as a '13.1', including on medals and T-shirts.

How do you feel about full marathons being referred to as a '26.2' Charlie ... which also appears now to be a thing ?

That 26.2 13.1 thing is a bit pants. Is a 5k a 3.1 then?

As a marathon is traditionally measured in miles, I object to it being 42.2. In the same way, why do some runners' Garmins bleep during a marathon at the km mark (roughly every 0.6 mile)? Change the setting depending on whether the event is an imperial or metrically measured event!
