Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

The fact that I point out the BBC's spelling mistakes to them so many times that they should probably be paying me by now.

I used to know how to get the BBC to correct its spelling mistakes, but it's no longer obvious.

I had a friend who used to study the 6 am news and the 7 am news to see which bits the government had managed to censor (persuade the BBC that the story was inaccurate) in the first hour of Radio 4's day. It happened quite often.

I have contacted the BBC quite a few times to correct factual errors on their BBC Sport page. These used to be changed within an hour or so but now they don't always do it. Their policy also states that they won't even acknowledge or thank you for helping.

I get really annoyed when the weather forecast (future, i.e. tomorrow and further) is delivered in the present tense.

When half the weather "forecast" is spent telling you what has already happened.
