I had a friend who used to study the 6 am news and the 7 am news to see which bits the government had managed to censor (persuade the BBC that the story was inaccurate) in the first hour of Radio 4's day. It happened quite often.

These used to be changed within an hour or so but now they don't always do it. Their policy also states that they won't even acknowledge or thank you for helping.
