Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

A general failure by the majority of motorway drivers on my commute to understand the word "average" when applied to the phrase "speed cameras".

Oh god yes! They speed, then see the camera, then slam on their brakes.
If they are too fucking stupid to understand the word average they fucking deserve a ticket!

Conversely, people who think they're allowed to speed through roadworks because a holdup at the beginning has kept their average speed down for a while.

And back to my most common gripe.

BT wasting over an hour of my time when all I wanted to know was the process to obtain a System Access Request.

50 minutes of a junior telling me I needed to hear their manager's voice on the phone, 10 minutes of a supervisor reading back, then 5 minutes to answer the question.

The organisation seems to go to extraordinary lengths to annoy customers while avoiding solving problems.

And, after wasting months of my time calling me 2-3 times a week for 6 months only to create more problems than they solved, they now want to charge me £10 for details of each contact. (Is there an emoticon for an exploding Helegant?)

I really feel for you Helegant, perhaps it's time you submitted your bill to them, I hope you've kept a list of dates and times of all contact with them.

Their 'deadlock' letter to me has missed out a series of key events, so I wonder whether I have more information than they do.
