Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Myself too. Several weeks off running because of injury but started run walk and planned to do Parkrun yesterday as my first proper run. However, they were short of a timer, so I volunteered as I knew I'd be able to run today with a buddy.
Woke up this morning with a raging sore throat and everything aching.
I'm getting a little impatient with myself 😡

For a clutch? You'd expect a whole new gearbox for that!
The chap who has misspelt my name for the last 3 months suddenly realising. It's only in my email signature on every bloody email.

[I tell people who misspell my name straight away FC, or they moan they can't find me in the email system, with my complex surname, which is rarely misspelt]

Why is it when you spell your name on an e-mail (electronic signature), someone still misspells it when they reply?

My name is regularly spelt with a y instead of an ie on the end in emails.

Sometimes people who've been spelling it correctly suddenly have a lapse. I also get called by my last name in emails and when I reply to say best wishes from first name I still get a reply to the last name.

Occasionally I spell the sender's name ridiculously to draw attention to how they've spelt mine, eg Dear Allysson, Say-rah, Aaaan

It's another lovely day and I had specifically intended a decent bike ride; but I am having the kind of intestinal issues that mean travelling any distance from the house is rather unadvisable.

(In fact, it's not so much my gears which are grinding, as other parts. I think grapefruit may be to blame.)
