Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I had a Tomahawk.

Getting my first 5 speed racer was the crowning joy of my youthful cycling. Think it was a Carlton. Naturally the first upgrade was a pair of cowhorn handlebars.

What I remember most was the fucking thing punctured all the time. My tubes ended up as much patches as the original rubber.

Anyone remember fitting a dynamo? Slowed you down by about 5 mph in order to emit some feeble pale orange light....

My mother, who was, as previously mentioned with reference to Choppers, the authority on all things cycling, decreed that lights were frowned upon by the police because they could fall off or the battery could run out, and dynamos were where it was at, so until I left home all I was allowed was a dynamo

My Chopper had those lights with the strange combo batteries that only fitted bike lights - until they went flat, the plastic cracked and or they got knocked/bounced off!

Back on topic....

Garmin, specifically bl@@dy Garmin Express.
Damn program has to be coaxed into working most days with ANT+ stick, and then tonight it's randomly uploaded everything on my watch so I have to unpick the double entries.

How can a company make such good watches and fail miserbly to produce a decent bit of software?

People who get on a bus and - for ventilation - open the window *behind* them. So anyone further down the bus gets a faceful of rain, wind or tree branches.

I never watch any sort of charity tv event, they're always shit. Anyway, I donated £20 earlier, that's my bit done :)
