Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Website login pages which ask for a username and password.. so you type in your username & password and are denied entry, username is not recognised. That's odd. Maybe I used a different one. Try another one. Nope. Same response. Try a third. Nope. Click the "I've forgotten my username" link, to be told "your username is the email address you signed up with".

Ffs. If you wanted my bloody email address ask for my email address, not a username. The two are very different.

When you find your usual password doesn't work so you recover it and go to change it - to be told only at that point your password needed to have a number but no capital letters (or some other rule). If they had mentioned that earlier, I would have remembered what it was as I had added a number and taken out capital letters from my usual password.

[Your password contains no vitamins and is insufficiently healthy. Please enter a new password including A,B1,B2,B3,B5 (etc). B4 has not been a vitamin since forever and is not allowed].

Race websites which demand password security more complicated than my actual bank does.

Microsoft Word Office Assistant. Thankfully a thing of the past (I hope). Stupid animations popping up while trying to type a document asking if I need help. Really annoying when hot-desking. For me, that too is in the past!
