Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I clicked on your link Dvorak and ended up looking at the Flickr account of someone who likes planes, trains and moorhens!

Overly enthusiastic table bussing. No you can't take my half full coffee cup away, I'm still drinking it.

I can beat that Wobbling when we were staying in a rather posh hotel in St Andrews. Hotel was full so buffet style breakfast was busy. We finished our cereal and fruit and went to get our cooked breakfast but by the time we returned to our table it had been cleared and another couple were sitting there eating their cereal and fruit!

People who should be able to spell drug names in full using idiosyncratic abbreviations in patients' medical records and (especially) in messages sent to me. It's lazy, it's bad manners, it's slapworthy.

I will tell you what grinds my 'eating out' gears, waiting staff trying to clear the table when I am still eating!

oooh, controversial Zorba.

What grinds my gears - manufacturers of dog poo bags who don't implement quality control.

My handwashing has gone beyond necessary and into ritual OCD in the last ten minutes.
