Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I'd make all drivers have to pass a degree level exam in fluid mechanics before they were allowed onto the roads. In that way they'd understand how to drive in such a manner so as to keep the flow of traffic as smooth and efficient as possible (especially leaving and entering motorways and roundabouts) instead of the sub-amoeba intelligence I witness everyday on the roads.

People dodging traffic to cross a busy dual carriageway just feet away from a pedestrian crossing ... and especially with children.

Drivers. Again. It really does bring out every worst aspect of humanity, doesn't it? The sheer stupidity, lack of attention, discourtesy and impulsiveness. Isn't there a car we could design which doesn't make grownups behave like toddlers?

It's the Google car. So let's have a law that from 2025, humans will not be permitted to drive.

Autonomous cars are a wonderful idea, the problem will be the changeover period when they have to coexist with morons...

Opening an envelope to find a parking fine for using the car park at my gym for a spinning class all because I forgot to put my number plate into the stupid machine. I can't believe I forgot to do it! I've never had a parking fine in my life! :-p

[seconded with venom - it's a day that can only exist if you have Thanksgiving, which we don't - and a "Black Friday Sale" cannot last for seven days]
