My other half saw himself as a very average runner and did a couple of half maras at around 1:40 when he was in his mid 40s. Bu there are so many variables - not least what do you call average!

I reckon the median wava of those who actually run events is probably around 55, mean time wava around 57-58. I agree that Raffo underestimates himself.
