Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Things you want to say and can, probably for a bit of sympathy or attention but theres no one there whos listening.

sprained my sodding ankle this morning right outside my house, coming home after my 10k run. Aquathon next Sunday; fingers (and ankles) crossed for a quick recovery :(

Sorry for the double post.

Um, jangles, so sorry to hear what a shit-bag your son's dad turned out to be. It certainly puts my dodgy ankle into perspective. Glad that you are happy now.

James1982: just keep repeating: this too shall pass. It will even if it's hard to believe it right now. Hugs xx

Haven't read this thread for a while but came for a moan about my exhusband being wet, useless and pathetic. Then I read jangles post and realised that it could have been a great deal worse. I am glad that you have your son and his stepdad and are happy now jangles - I can't imagine what you went through 14 years ago.

How are you feeling, James 1982? It's a while since I've been in your shoes but I reckon one week listening to Dido's White Flag on repeat, then get your shit together and just fill your time with all the things you usually do - plus some extra running of course.

Hey, maybe you will thank her (or him) for a new PB one day.

I am very confused. I don't know where to turn. I don't know what to do. :-(
