Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I looked into suncream last year when I went to Spain and read a few reviews about that P20 that some people seem to have a bad skin reaction to it. So I went for Hawaiian Tropic 30 in the end, it's not to thick or greasy and very water resistant. It kept me protected cycling in 40 degree heat.

I like and trust P20. I used it for a marathon in Kenya, no problem at all. I chose it because of the concern of 'ordinary' products being lost as I sweated. Didn't really find it greasy at all.

I don't care if my running kit becomes ever so slightly discoloured. It's running kit :-)

From the point of view of an Aussie, we have a thing called Invisible Zinc. It's factor 50 or 60 and blocks both UVA and UVB. Totally water proof to the point of having to scrub it off in the shower with dishwashing liquid.

THis is the link to their page invisiblezinc.com.au

A few recommendations for Banana Boat on this thread but from a while back. And banana boat in the Orange bottle ( the sports one) seems hard to find. Can any Fetchies recommend a sun cream which doesn't sting eyes when sweating?

I use P20 and get on with it fine. I like that I only need 1 covering and there's no smell when it dries.

Though I have read a couple of articles on the chemicals in sun cream. There is a suggestion that some of these chemicals are as potentially carcinogenic as sun burn.

I'm not going to stop using sun block, but it does make me think.

I use P20, when I remember. It'll last all day.

It was me who recommended the little orange bottles of banana boat sports about 3 years ago, and I agree it's getting increasingly difficult to find. I found some in a pharmacy in Malaysia...

I tried p20 on Saturday. It'll do for me. No stinging eyes on run so that is excellent news!
