AFAIAC, any browning can be called building up resistance, but that's just acknowledging the fact that browning is a sign that the body has already experienced a breakthrough of radiation attack. I wear p20 factor 50 on the face, when I remember.

I apply factor 30 to top of head, back of neck, and shoulders if in a singlet. I am unfortunately prone to skin cancers of the basal cell carcinoma variety. These are not dangerous, unlike melanoma, but they're still best removed. I've had three cut out already and suspect that another is forming.

I hate the feeling of suncream. La Roche-Posay Invisible is meant to feel OK, and A'pieu pure block (who also do a water-based one which is meant to not "feel")

I use L'Oreal dry mist sunscreen as it isn't greasy and almost don't notice it's on. During May - September I'm usually out on the bike for 8 hours or so and it lasts all day.

Fizz :-)
I confess I never use it, unless I’m abroad on holiday. (Very rare!)

MsG - that L'Oreal one looks good. Do you know if it's sweat resistant?

It is for me, it got plenty of testing last year in the heat.

Down as water resistant.

Amazon or Superdrug have it on offer occasionally so I stock up because the RRP of £10 is a bit much.

For the men here, Bulldog have brought out an SPF30 moisturiser uk.bulldogskincare.com

It's a bit pricy but I've tried it (there was an offer via a strava challenge) and it's nice. A bit runnier, so it goes on smoothly. I'll probably reserve it for summer next year now though and carry on with their standard SPF "Protective Moisturiser".

Got something to say?

If it's only a 30-45 mins run I wouldn't normally bother and TBH I don't think I bother when I go for a walk or garden.

When I run commute I "forget"

So when should you use it and what factor?

I run into work at 6 (70ish mins) then return at 4:50 do I need it both ways or just on th...
