We crack open the champagne & I have about half a glass, don't like the stuff really. Mrs O will demolish the bottle & we take the Spaniels for a long walk in the Park. She is very drunk at this point & we carry on with the alcohol intake when we get home. She makes the dinner & I wash up (usually on boxing day). Chilling out, eating, drinking & watching the telly is my Christmas Day. Daughter will be joining us with her bf sometime in the afternoon. Hope she brings more champagne......

Stumpy Dec 2011 11:09pm, 21 Dec 2011 13,616 posts	0 Stumpy my day will be fun as the family are all at my place wake up see nieces open their stockings. persuade them to come to parkrun and walk the dog (while my mum and sister make a start on lunch ;-)) back home to buck's fizz lunch load dishwasher (or walk dog. would prefer to be the one to walk the dog....) presents tv and snooze christmas cake and rubbish tv. perfect.

Smoked salmon and scramped eggs on English Muffins for breakfast Hull parkrun Home for Bucks Fizz and start to open presents - we open one each hour during the day 4 in one bird Christmas dinner with champagne Dog walking in the afternoon Buffet tea with some other alcohol Watch crap TV and finish opening presents Repeat on boxing Day, minus the parkrun, but including my parents
