Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Hello! I've not run for a few days. Work has been crazy and i feel drained and really not in the mood for it at the end of the day and am struggling to get up to go in the mornings. I need to break this cycle as I know the fresh air and exercise will energise me. Maybe tomorrow morning a 20 minute ruffle or even just a walk will set me back on track. Surely even a super-tired kwala can manage to get up 20 mins earlier! Especially if I get off my phone and go to sleep 💤 😴

Evening, I nearly spoke myself out of my run this morning. Woke at 4.30am and switched off 5.00am alarm then lay wakened and remembered it said rain this afternoon so got up and out at 5.00am and put in a not too shabby 10k so did polish my halo for that one.

I do know what you mean though- it's making the first steps again and working out what time if day is best for your life duties

I considered going for a run, but didn't ... and, well, it's the thought that counts! 😂

Do any of the SAP'ers wear glasses (seeing glasses, not sun) when tootling about? I run hot at the best of times (I run hot when walking ... go figure? 🤣 ). How do the broken eyed out there deal with condensation and drips?

I do and it’s bloody annoying :-( . I can’t stand wearing a hat so when it’s raining I can’t see a thing

Well done lipgloss 👏

I am in a similar boat kwala plus my frozen shoulder is really painful this week. I am planning on a little run tomorrow if you fancy joining me virtually again :-)

decorum - I am just about to start wearing glasses full time but will probably run without them as my distance vision is okish . With my breathing they would be permanently steamed up on a run.

Another glasses wearer here. I often leave them off when running as I have the same problem with overheating. Not much you can do about it really.

I forced myself out of bed and went for a walk this morning. Almost gave in to the duvet but so glad I went - I felt better prepared for the day and only lost 20mins in bed! Work is much calmer today so will try to get out for a ruffle this evening 😀

That’s great to hear kwala - I had a very slow walk in the rain with Ndog, we are out for 1 hour most mornings and don’t even clock up 2 miles 🐌

Enjoy your ruffle later :-)
