(Slow And Proud)!
An offshoot of Absolute Beginners thread, this is where you can relax knowing that your worst (i.e. slowest) session of the week is welcomed here!!
The idea is that you log your slowest run of the week - just the average speed - and each Sunday we'll compile a list of group members, in order of slowness :)
So now you can look forward to that hilly session, knowing that if you run slowly, you can just put it down as your "SAP session! - or if you just have a bad run for any reason, at least it can go down as the week's slowest.

We have a brand new SAP club logo, but we don't really know what to do with it - any suggestions welcome (clean ones, that is!)
Anyone can join the group, you don't have to be slow!

Ah ha - a thread for me I think! , may I join you ?

I started running with C25K last spring and am building up the mileage to do Silverstone half next month - would be nice to be faster, long runs take such a long time at the moment - but I am proud to be doing as well as I am :-)

Thanks bambi1! rosab123, yes course you can join!

Trouble is, I set up the group, then it said "no groups associated with this thread", so I set it up again, and no idea where to find it!
If anyone can help on this, would much appreciate it!!

We can post notes of our (slow) progress here, and just fmail me your average mins per mile for your slowest session - and we'll take it from there (and in the case of myself, learning as we go!!:)

I've found out where the link is - apparently it isn't listed in Groups until there are more than 20 members, so up till then, the link shows on my profile page.

Thanks all, and thanks Kimbles67, I've now put a link at the top of the thread, so if you want to join, click on the link and (hopefully) it will lead to the group!
First results list will go on tonight so once you've joined, rake through your training times this week and fmail me the slowest average min per mile, by around 8ish pm.

OK here is the first week's "Winners List":
1. Enriak 9.71m/ml
(The only one to join the SAP group so far, apart from me, and I don't count! Others who fmailed me their times can't be included as they haven't joined the group yet :()
(maybe it wasn't such a good idea after all - to start this thing up :( )
Anyway, well done Enriak, you're a good SAPper!
