Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Running every street in Glasgow bbc.co.uk

(Iirc, becca7 has run every street in Leicester. I would be pretty close to having run every street in Denny and Dunipace - not quite the same scale ;-) )

Old Mum
HappyG, my new local is going to be Lochore. Sadly my fitness belongs the bottom of the loch at the moment, but I’ll make a point of racing the dugs and look forward to you whooping my middle aged ass. Ask Stu for advice on how to tackle an especially grumpy Old Mum 😉

FB is sometimes good at throwing up memories you’d now rather forget or at least some of the people but today it’s happy memories of our meet up in Edinburgh for Porty parkrun then our visit to see Mo run cross country before embarking on a game of weird dominoes. (5 years ago)

for anyone in the Glasgow area looking for a XC endurance session tomorrow morning, I cannot recommend highly enough the Glasgow Athletics Association sessions. open to all runners from u15 up, a great mix of juniors & seniors from all the running clubs in Glasgow and beyond, non club runners also very welcome, Tomorrows session is 6-10 T run, 10 x 1 min with 1 min recoveries, then 6-10 min T run to finish. you can choose to do any time between 6-10 mins for the first and last reps, you need to do all of the 10 x 1. spikes or trails recommended as it will be a bit grassy/ muddy. :)

Location is nether pollock playing fields at Pollok park (close to start/finish of Parkrun), ready and warmed up for 10.30 start.

How we ever got lucky enough to get a space in a pub that day, is a modern miracle!
