I agree - Jacqui Smith topping off the contestants today

I must confess that this series will probably have me reaching for the off button. Apart from series 2 (2004 when Jill Halfpenny won), we haven't missed a show let alone the entire series.
No audience, a lack of star names and scraping the bottom of the barrel once again. Not my idea of BBC1 Saturday night viewing. My family are big Strictly fans but this year there isn't a lot to get excited about - sorry! There won't even be a Christmas Special.
Give me a nudge and I may watch the final. I'm disappointed, Auntie Beeb.

Yes, that made me chuckle.
Interesting to read about James Jordan's thoughts:
Not only is Nicola Adams everyone’s favourite gold medal winner from the 2012 Olympics, but she’s also making history. When she appears on Strictly, she will be the first contestant ever to dance with a professional of the same sex. Moments after this was announced, the former Strictly professional James Jordan tweeted: “We have become a scared little embarrassing country that panders to political correctness #fuckoffPCbrigade.”
What an arse.

He then later posted something refuting he was referring to anything in particular. Yeah right. What a dinosaur.

Wouldn’t you think, with the number of gay dancers, that the community would be more tolerant?

Male dancers wouldn't be able to be such prima donnas if they weren't so vital

I'm going to reserve judgement until I see how they handle this, I just hope the costumes and dance style is gender neutral, I worry it could look a little pantomime.
