Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

It does LN. His last minute replacement won it last year of course.

HRVY anyone? I suddenly feel ancient - no idea who he is and his name already annoys me! :-)

LOL. I think HRVY is a very minor pop star - I had the dubious pleasure of taking one of my offspring to see The Vamps about 18 months ago and he was one of the support acts (i.e. record company promo act in truth).

Shall be really interested to see how it goes - for some dance styles (lyrical, musical theatre, even the latin ones) I can see it working really well - but the waltz, fox trot etc - maybe a bit more challenging? As has been said in the amateur dance world same sex duets are common. Everyone always sat up in their chairs when Leaflet and Twiglet came on as a pair, it was *that* usual. Not that they did ballroom where I suppose the roots are much more in male/female pairings. Interesting. I did watch Dancing on Ice last year and have to say I didn't think it worked as well as it should have.

OK, I know only five of this year's line-up so far. I am a bit disappointed considering all the talk of getting some big names who otherwise would be twiddling their thumbs during the current pandemic.
