Go into my stats, it then opens the menu to Recovery Advisor, VO2 Max, Race Predictor.

I'll be amazed if I ever hit what my Fenix 3 predicts for me. A 3-minute PB at 5k is just the start of it (and HOD has probably noticed at Milton parkrun that I have mastered the sweet spot of almost but not quite vomming or passing out at the finish line of a 5k, so I'd say 3 minutes is unrealistic).

So this was discussed at great length on the FR620 forum probably a year ago now. The prediction is based on VO2Max and there is a direct correlation to the times. Most people find the VO2Max is 3 points higher than the race predictor! forums.garmin.com |
