The thread I checked suggested some kind of driver corruption if you attached a device while windows update was running (doesn't need to be actually updating!!) - interesting feature

Oh well. Fixed but lost all my data. It's all here apart from today's run anyhow. Thanks all.

Linds - as a general rule, I find my garmin 620 works a lot better and has less 'issues' if I delete the history every month or so.
