Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I've just set up a strava account. I usually just upload my runs via my garmin to fetch - is it easy to use strava as well?

I haven't got a clue. I'm about to go for a run, so will try to strava it but I'm a bit clueless. :-)

You can connect your garmin account to strava (just like fetch) and it should automatically upload.

You can find people to follow (finds RRR-CAZ!) and see their activities too. TBH I don't use strava much as it largely duplicates Fetch and Fetch is friendlier. But if you like segments and stuff...

I just got set up on strava this week too. Getting synced is pretty easy:

The difference for me between strava and Fetch is that you're more likely to find folks you know in real life on Strava. For me at least, a lot greater percentage of my non-virtual friends are on there. It's not as good though, nothing beats the Fetch analysis of a training effort.

I always describe strava as Facebook for runners. There's loads of banter/ encouragement/ bragging etc on there. Quite good fun but a bit more superficial than Fetch.

Agree WW - however feel free to search me out on Strava.

What's your name on there? Always nice to stalk other runners around the same times 😀😀
